We elevate automobile clubs into the third dimension – a new mobility reality shaped by drones and air taxis.

We are thrilled to announce that the Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy (DAVMA), a part of FIA Region I, has recently become a member of the Urban-Air-Mobility Initiative Cities Community (UIC2). This initiative is a key component of the renowned CIVITAS network, which is dedicated to cleaner, better transport in Europe and beyond.

The Royal Automobile Association South Australia and the Drone & Vertical Mobility Academy launch a challenge inviting start-ups for a pilot project in the medical drone logistics field.

We offer a broad portfolio for clubs in the FIA ecosystem and industrial companies interested in exploring the third dimension together with mobility clubs. Both drones and Advanced / Urban Air Mobility are complex subjects. What are their benefits to club members? How can we evaluate their viability in a specific country? How far is both technology and regulation?

FIA clubs can provide drone trainings for all kinds of levels from beginner to professionals. In order to do so they could build up facilities where people can practice to fly their drone in special conditions such as strong wind or rains.

FIA clubs can test drones and certify them with certain ratings for their costumers, similar to how the clubs are doing it currently for cars, car equipment and infrastructures.

Flying a drone requires knowing many technical, legal and security-relevant specifications, which can sometimes be overwhelming. Especially for private drone pilots it is hard to have an overview of everything that is allowed and forbidden.
